Cold-rolled sheet has the advantages of high strength, high-grade surface, good processing performance, good corrosion resistance, excellent dimensional accuracy and stable physical properties, and is widely used in the manufacture of auto parts, home appliances, building materials, and chemical equipment and other fields.
Cold-rolled sheet is a metal material that has been rolled and stretched at room temperature. It is commonly used in the manufacture of automobiles, appliances, construction and various other products.
First is the preparation of raw materials: The manufacturing process of cold-rolled steel sheets begins with the preparation of raw materials. First of all, it is necessary to purchase high-quality hot-rolled steel plates. These steel plates are rolled at high temperature, have high hardness and strength, and have excellent processability. In order to ensure the quality of the steel plate, chemical composition and mechanical performance tests are also required.
Then rolling and cooling: Once the steel plate arrives at the factory, it goes through a rolling mill for initial rolling and stretching. The rolling mill compresses the steel sheet to the desired thickness and makes it thinner and more uniform. Next, a cooling unit cools the steel plate rapidly to bring it to the required hardness and strength.
Annealing treatment: Since the steel plate becomes very brittle after cooling, annealing treatment is required. During annealing, steel sheets are exposed to high temperatures to make them softer and more ductile. After annealing, the steel plate can be processed and shaped more easily.
Trimming and Cutting: Once the plate has reached the desired level of hardness, strength and toughness, it needs to be trimmed and cut. Trimming is the cutting and shaping of the edges of steel plates to meet specific dimensional and geometric requirements. Cutting involves cutting the steel plate to the desired length and width.
Ending surface treatment: cold rolled steel plate requires surface treatment. This includes methods such as pickling, polishing or coating. Pickling can remove oxides and other impurities on the surface of the steel plate to improve its appearance and corrosion resistance. Polishing can make the surface of the steel plate smooth and uniform. The coating protects the steel plate from corrosion and other damage.
