What Are The Classification Standards For Copper Pipes

Copper tube, with good heat dissipation, strong durability, is very widely used. There are many types and specifications of copper pipes, and today we will talk about what are the classification standards for copper pipes.

The classification criteria for copper pipes are as follows:

1. Welded copper pipes can be divided into arc copper tubes, high-frequency or low-frequency resistance copper tubes, gas copper tubes, furnace copper tubes, bondi tubes, etc.

Welded copper pipes: used in oil drilling and machinery manufacturing.

Copper pipe material: standard furnace copper pipe: can be used as water gas pipe, etc., large-diameter longitudinal copper pipe is used for high-pressure oil and gas transportation, spiral copper pipe is used for oil and gas transportation, pipe piles, bridge piers, etc.

2. According to the shape of the weld, it can be divided into straight seam copper pipe and spiral copper pipe

(1) Straight seam copper pipe: the production process is simple, the production efficiency is high, the cost is low, and the development is fast.

(2) Spiral copper pipe: the strength is generally higher than that of longitudinal seam copper pipe, and the copper pipe with a larger diameter can be produced with a narrower blank, and the copper pipe material standard can also use the same width of the blank to produce copper pipes with different diameters. However, compared with the same length of straight seam pipe, the weld length is increased by 30~100%, and the production speed is lower. Therefore, most of the smaller diameter copper pipes are welded longitudinally, and the larger diameter copper pipes are mostly spiral welded.
