Rotability Of Low Carbon Steel Plate

The deep-drawing spinning test was carried out on a variety of low-carbon steel plates with different metallographic properties and mechanical properties, and the following points directly related to the spinability were obtained.

The maximum elongation strain of aluminum killed steel plate of general purity exceeds 250% during deep drawing and spinning.

The ultimate elongation of the boiling steel plate with lower purity decreases with the increase of the oxygen content of the steel plate.

As soon as the grains of the steel sheet are coarsened, the forming limit decreases.

The total elongation, n value and r value in the mechanical properties of the steel plate have no direct influence on the forming limit of spinning.

The steel plate used in the test is very thin (about 0.5mm), and the commonly used thickness steel plate (0.8-1.6mm) will definitely be much higher than the above limit.
